Sharptail Grouse Bird Hunting

PRO Outfitters offers a premier western upland bird hunting experience. We are proud to hunt WILD birds exclusively on 200,000 acres stretched across central Montana. We hunt our native sharptail grouse; Hungarian partridge; and ring-neck pheasant. Butted up against the north side of the Little Belt mountains; our hunting lodge enjoys one of the most scenic views imaginable – stretching from the Rocky Mountain Front to the west, north to Canada and east across beautiful mountain ranges; buttes and vistas – reminiscent of a Charles M. Russell painting.

Bring your own dog or hunt with ours. They’ll enjoy running big through a well-managed mosaic of grasslands, shrubby coulees and creek bottoms butted against the timbered slopes of the mountains. We offer three and four day packages during September, October and November. The four day package can include a day of fishing on the famous Missouri River or several other small world class freestone creeks and rivers. Our beautiful yurt village lodge offers hunting opportunities right out the front door. Comfortable, private accommodations, kennels for dogs and ample tasty meals complete your trip to the Big Sky.
