A FLY FISHING LODGE LIKE NO OTHER ON THE BLACKFOOT RIVER
Experience crisp, bright mornings that dissolve into warm, lingering Montana afternoons. It’s the fly fishing experience that inspired Norman Maclean’s acclaimed book: A River Runs Through It. Lush fishing, meandering waters and seasoned guides.
The lodge itself is perched on the North Fork of the Blackfoot River just outside the town of Ovando, Montana. We feature a signature mix of intimate outdoor experience and comfort. Our unique tent cabins were designed to provide the comforts of a full service lodge without losing the intimate connection to nature that camping can provide. Replete with wood floors, custom feather beds, heat, electricity and a private bathhouse.
The main lodge features a lounge and dining area overlooking five artesian-fed stocked ponds, perfect for evening fishing. Surrounded by the Blackfoot River Valley, remote and lush with large populations of native West Slope Cutthroat Trout.
We have been guiding anglers down the Blackfoot River for close to 40 years. Our seasoned fly-fishing guides know every inch of this river and their experience pays off on every trip.
An Orvis endorsed experience.
