Sharptail Lodge
Glamping on a homesteaded ranch with 150,000+ huntable acres of wild bird country and Orvis-endorsed wingshooting.

Bird hunting · Montana
We hunt wild birds only, on leased ranch ground against the north side of the Little Belt Mountains in central Montana. The season opens on sharptail grouse and Hungarian partridge; ring-neck pheasant join them after about the seventh of October.
Bring your own dog or hunt behind ours. The country is a mosaic of native grassland, shrubby coulees and creek bottoms running up against timbered slopes, and the hunting starts at the door of the lodge. Packages run three or four days, and a four-day package can include a day fishing the Missouri or one of the small freestone creeks nearby.
Evenings are spent at Sharptail Lodge, on a ranch homesteaded in the late 1800s: private yurts, kennels for the dogs, and cocktails and dinner by the fire.
