Kids Camp · North Fork Crossing Lodge
Orvis-endorsed kids camp
Fish are better than phones.
Kids Camp is a week of fly fishing at North Fork Crossing Lodge for the next generation of anglers, with two campers to every guide. Campers go home with the skills, and the itch, to pick up a fly rod on any freshwater.
Mornings are hands-on classes led by our staff and visiting guests: reading water, entomology, fly tying and technique, and the habitat conservation that responsible fishing depends on. Afternoons are on the river, guided the same way we guide adults, casting for cutthroat, browns and rainbows in the Blackfoot valley.
Back at the lodge it's the old kind of camp: a football on the lawn, casting on the ponds, fish stories and s'mores at the fire. Campers sleep in wall tents with wood floors, feather beds, heat and electricity. Breakfast and dinner come from the lodge kitchen, and lunch is eaten on the riverbank.
