We guide three rivers, and each fishes differently. The Smith is a multi-day wilderness float through a limestone canyon, run on limited permits, with nights in camp on the bank. The Blackfoot is the water Norman Maclean wrote into A River Runs Through It: native westslope cutthroat, browns and rainbows, and the big stonefly hatches of June and July. The Yurt at Craig sits eight minutes from the Missouri's Wolf Creek take-out.
Day floats on the Blackfoot run from April through October, and North Fork Crossing Lodge sits on its North Fork for anglers who'd rather stay on the water. Every lodge is owner-operated, with guides who know their water and lodging that keeps the quiet of camp without giving up comfort.
